so lets say i go for a stroll in the local park when shroom season starts and some nosey dog walkers spot me picking what they believe to be magic mushrooms, could they phone the old bill? would i be breaking the law?

I wouldn’t worry about it mate. It would take a real bastard to phone the OB but if you do see someone coming just wait until they pass by then carry on.

I’m up for a spot of ‘foraging’ this year, just need someone to go with who has done it before! 😉

If don’t know the area then it’s just under the massive TV transmitter on the hill overlooking Wells.

I used to live in Lincolnshire, Bourne woods was a good place to go, there’s a sheep field on the town side which was quite productive.

it’s too warm this far south but when it’s time, they are quite literally everywhere

and yes, it’s illegal to pick them, they are class a so maximum possible penalty for possession is 7 years + a fine and for supply is life + a fine

Im going to have a hunt this year .does anyone know any good spots in the Bromley or Tunbridge wells area? Have been researching for months and now the time is nearly here! yessss!

what’s the deal (hypertheticaly) if they were growing on your land/in your garden? it’s not like you would nesaseraly even know what they were .. but with regards to other drugs .. if they are on your propity .. they are in your possesion .. could you even get done for cultivation? i guess they would take the fact that they grow in the wild into consideration .. but how would they know if they were there by chance or not?

it would be incredibly difficult to get them to grow outdoors, like in your garden. the mycelium could take years to develop in natural conditions. so no, you wouldn’t get done unless there was other evidence that you had caused it to happen and were harvesting, otherwise prince charlie would be inside as they are all over his estate

Went to look for mushies yesterday in a field that usually comes up with the goods. i think it has been sprayed in the last few years as up until about 4 years ago you were not searching for the mushrooms, you were picking as many as you could be bothered picking, ie there were hundreds in 10sq metres of every inch of the field, with some fucking huge mushies. The recent years this fields productivity has declined substantially but there are still patches of it that has a good stock of liberty caps, mostly about 10m from the fence on the slopiest parts.

Its a bit early yet but its been wet where i live and i had a look and found 2. i was only there for 15 mins :yawn:

the 3 pics after the white one were the lonely baby lib caps for anyone who dosnt know which ones which (i dont know what the others are called! I think the red spotty one is also one you can trip on but its poisonus aswell and can kill u)
