if your worried about getting lifted while picking them and you know where they are, eat them as you pick them, you’ll start seeing little pixie villages 😛

from roughly now until the first frost i believe.

one great thing bout living in rural wales theres never suitable fields too far away;)
me and friends have been looking for a few weeks now, probably too early but today we hit the jackpot(liberty caps) we found a lovely north facing bank and managed to get 120ish lovely p. semilanceata from it. chuffed:D

we also have another likely site where we have found a few before, and will search the fields nearby the bank. then its camping sat night and chomp the lot, cant wait:D

between now and end of november/early december some years
the best time is about 10th october usually, that is prime time mushies
