the political text that seems the best ideology is a book called social anarchism by this bloke giovanni baldelli (sp?) who was the head of the anarchist council in italy around 1930’s. he was all about the practical dissolution of laws thru social education and investment. havent read it in a while, but i recon social anarchism is my utopia. however, its hardly likely to come about, so it will remain an idea.
i really think communist restrictions should be enforced on trade (instead of the fascist one set out by the WTO and World Bank). the idea of carbon rations i think is also essential to ensure a decent furure for all life. the idea that capitalism is a self regulating, perfect system now seems laughable, yet our governments still insist that it is our holy grail.
basically, we need some real, proper revolutionary ideas, but at the mo they must be presented as beneficial to the current system (ie generate money). the green party seem to be the only party even talking in those terms (although i remain skeptical that they wont be corrupted by power) so they are the only choice for me….
