Yes seriously, What’s your fucking problem with this one then?
the original release of this is on the loop of 80s music used to test the PA system at work – the official VEVO version has been sourced from a version where the teleciné equipment (pop “videos” were often still made on film back then; more expensive but much easier to edit) is been set all wrong with the colours totally washed out and no ones even bothered to correct it…
This upload is from someones personal recording of a youth TV show from 1984; its shorter but far better quality than any others. ITV (which provided programmes for Channel 4) actually put some effort into youth TV back then….
The studios used were near where Tryptameanie lives (unfortunately they were closed by ITV, gutted out and the buildings knocked down in the 2000s 🙁 )
I thought I’d also play it as there a real 1980s era beardy socialist has got elected to lead the Labour Party; which even if he doesn’t become Prime Minister will at least piss off David Cameron and the rest of them for a good few years…

Link some videos from youtube bud. Use the second icon from the right in the row above where you type replies and paste the link in there.
I read somewhere that Goths were more likely to self harm/have low self esteem partly because of the dark themes in their music but they were often bullied at high school – not the case in the 1980s; even though me and my mates were what were then known as “casuals” (especially as we listened to electronic and dance music).
We didn’t bully them (maybe teased them just a bit) and some of their music was actually quite good (though this is probably also symbolism of where too much of benzos and opiates will land you)…
