There is a huge price discrepancy; I’ve seen non brandname cigarettes for ~ $3 a pack in the south, while some states its about ~ $10 a pack with all the taxes. So its really worth mentioning, also the selection is probably better in states with laxer laws.
Jesus christ, I’m in shock that within one country, despite them all being different states, such price differences can or do exist.
GL. I’m not sure how many people who voted for Brexit can tie their own fucking shoelaces.
The lowest I can remember seeing a pack down south is $2.89 but it could be cheaper in another state. But if you’re comparing apples to apples, a pack of Newports would be $5 in the least taxed state, which is Kentucky, in New York with the highest tax, the same pack would run you $14 or more.
This is why people sell loosies or single cigarettes in states such as New York, nobody can pay 14$ for a pack and there is a thriving interstate black market.
Shit i be smoking: Camel, Winston, Newport, Capri, Marlboro, Maverick
I was a chain smoker earlier but different and happy now. I was asking questions like why am I smoking? Am I smoking to look cool? Am I smoking because of my friends pushing me to? Am I just giving an excuse like “I just smoke very less, so it won’t affect my health? I smoke a quality cigar, top celebs are also smoking, etc.” A powerful question to ask yourself “what would be my health after some years?” This question created a strong desire for me. I started taking care of my health, read books like My Shovel: Karen Sue, How to control your mind? etc worked out daily and now spending quality time with my family.

Great post. Something to think about. I’ve been smoking for over five years and the dry cough really annoys me, but I can’t decide to quit…
