these days it would depend on what you entered on the microchip :laugh_at: – and even today a lot of folk still believe in another dude who was born in a barn most likely in the Middle East; but him and his family often miraculously become North European in the artwork found in places of worship.
I am definitely an English wog; otherwise I’d be telling ye “och, haud ye wheest, eejit en awa’ wi ye” or had things gone differently in my life maybe even ended up like the Welsh Chinese bobby I saw on ITV reality telly about 10 years ago in uniform emblazoned “POLICE / HEDDLU” flooring a drunk twice his size with a banzai kick in the middle of Swansea in front of live cameras. My mum was watching this as well; I said to her “this is British multiculturalism at its finest”.
TBH its a good thing we have party drugs today; as before them back in the day I’d probably have ended up clouting you with something suitably hard irrespective of how big you might be and we’d both have ended up in the cells/mental units.
And had Dad managed to learn German in the 70s I’d have ended up the other side of the North sea anyway :laugh_at:

Ingalund!!!!!!!!!!
not sure if you are also being flippant here or actually confusing Afghanistan mixed up with Aberdeen or Arbroath (although I’ve heard the weather can be just as rough) – Alexander the Great was from what is now Greece so may well have been a bit tanned and Afghanistan is not that far away.
The folk there do like the bagpipes as much as the Scots and other Northern Europeans.
The Vikings did indeed travel far but were not half as aggressive as claimed to be; TBH nor whas anyone else. Many countries weren’t even that densley populated (some still are half empty); although mass migration did regularly occur within Europe due to extreme weather conditions as well as tribal conflicts; blurring the concept of what “nationality” actually is.
History is often viewed as a boring subject and is often written/taught by the victors and/or often middle aged men with the own prejudices and angst there is always a tendency to exaggerate the conflict points. There were also many occasions where there was an outbreak of peace for decades but they don’t get talked about half as much.
When people conquered other countries way back when , the people did not suddely consider themselves citizens of that country. No-one would argue a roman in England was now defined as English. Even now, children born in another country with parents who are recognized citizens of another country have either dual nationality or choose a nationality. Boris Johnson was born in America and legally could have ran for government over there had he chosen to but not even he would say he is not British.
Henestly man the stuff you’ve been posting the last 12 hours or so has descended into total shite.
If we all owned a home I’d like a video game arcade and a nice big mattress to flop on when I need a nap nap.

I guess you must be a Yorkshireman – and the Holy Light must have recently shone upon you as you appear to have caught a tan in the last few minutes :laugh_at:

this is not the gospel version of the song BTW but the one about robbing a bank and watching the train from the cell window…

I fuckin luv you brother, try alcohol!!! my Asian mate Sezmo was always was into pills it made him mardy but I suppose he was a good looking gentleman I miss him because I’m on the other side of Yorkshire now, all my old mates have forgotten me. 🙁
Oh yer GL avoid hindu’s they’re all super Nazis into caste caste caste, they had me meeting my Asian brother Tariq for a few 8 balls because they said he was ‘untouchable’, and Tariq is a fucking god as far as I’m concerned…
for much of my life I lived in town called Reading which viewed as the Southern equivalent of Sheffield although possibly smaller in size and more denslely populated. My family house was in the northern suburb Caversham where the BBC global surveillance centre is and the tech/defence/computer industries were doing well so folk from every corner of the the world flocked to Reading; many still live there and yet it was relatively peaceful during the late 1990s mid 2000s when on the party scene no one cared for shit what colour or background you had or judged you for what drugs you would or wouldn’t take.
I do like a drink (although not hangovers) – but have to watch myself as although I don’t get in fights etc (if anything it calms me down) I’ve lost 2 uncles from alcohol related problems.
Dad liked his drink too (he was Chinese and ran a restaurant bar as a second job) and could drink Irish builders under the table on top of benzos although Mum disapproved of this (and his biker friends) and encouraged him to move to places where he had to drive all the time and thus remained sober; but it didn’t do his health any good and he only made it to 57.
At his funeral the head waiter from the restaurant turned up with his biological son and a random Chinese lad from the restaurant who spoke little English who must had been ordered to turn up out of respect, the waiter said to me that as Dad had passed away he would be my “uncle” (this is common in both Chinese and European communities including some parts of England) but it was a bit like something from a Hong Kong movie.
Some years later I was at another restaurant run by the same family in Reading with a friend of mine (a chap of large build , part Scottish and although in his 20s was already balding on his head and looked a bit scary ) + two white English lasses; and whilst half drunk and full of other substances tried to see this “uncle” still worked there.
Unfortunately it appeared he had returned to Hong Kong – I spooked half the waiters as they thought we were all Border Force checking up on immigration papers (about 3 immediately fled out the back) and in the state I was in I daren’t ask the “auntie” who ran the place or she only would say to my mum “your son was in my restaurant drunk, smoking cigarettes and hanging around with “football hooligans and loose women”.

My all time favourite Asian man is Jaz coleman, he’s a weed dealer called Az sometimes and a fucking legend of the music industry, he was on kerrang, his first killing joke album didn’t do it for me apart from the song war dance which is brilliant, his following albums I’ve listened to countless times playing vice city because Jaz is an old school smack dealer/heroin addict but don’t tell anybody I told you that… he spent 16 years in category A because he made millions from his heroin sales and the 70s law caught up with him, now he owns his own off-licence and is still knocking out superb music, I swear alcohol+Asians=magic, listen to this:
Listen to the advice of the spiritual master:
not sure if you might be too young to remember this one although its the only track I remember from them – by the end of the 80s my musical tastes had shifted much more towards electronic/dance music.
I didn’t realise until now he was Asian as in the 80s you usually listened to music on the radio, UK telly sound quality is rubbish, pop video shows got ghettoised to odd hours and even if you did have a telly in your own room it was either black and white or it was the old family set which would often have defects that made the colours show all wrong…
Well I’ll possibly get a house when mum and dad
