i remember doing poppers on mdma and bongs and it gave the most intensely strong heartbeat and buzz, was actually disgusting but at the time i was so young and just wanted to get wrecked…. makes me shiver how disgusting that felt and the comedown after that weekend. luckily i’ve fully knocked the mandy on the head.

We had big bottle witch came by mysterious ways from a hospital, the real deal, but it did stop me from getting headaches of the shite, was fun though for a while, but you really feel the braincells commit suicide when U huff it.

…and almost forgot, it started to stink like hell that bottle after a year or so, out with that. And that stink I still can recall :yakk:

What damage did it do? I’m no expert but I was under the impression that poppers don’t actually cause any long term damage.

inhalants are like the most damaging crap you can do to yourself. I’ll take some dirty drugs like Heroin, Crack etc but some of the shit i’ve read about inhalant damage is the most scary crap ever. Basically it completely fucks you up very fast and you can die very easy.

One report i read which i read they’d be inhaling some crap for a couple of months and when they stopped their brain was so fucked they couldn’t even remember where they lived, panicking not knowing what the hell is going on. Horrific shit. (this wasn’t poppers but you get the idea of what inhalants do to you)

i saw an feature about it and they showed scanning pictures of the brain activity….they compared the pictures against stroke patients, after a weekend of massive use/abuse of poppers. people had change in their brain patterns like you have after a stroke but not that severe, but there was of signs change and rerouting of the brains neuro-paths as you get after a serious concusion, the lack of oxygen do it all..that was one of the reasons it got banned here in DK…

I just double checked and it’s actually “amyl nitrate”. I should know better but I still mix up nitrite and nitrate.

I don’t know if links are allowed so I won’t post one but if you look up “just jungle juice” you’ll find a webpage (a bit outdated) that lists known bad sellers and genuine ones. SWIM ordered two bottles; one Jungle Juice Platinum and one Taiwan Blue.

Poppers are kind of a “stupid kids stuff” legal high but SWIM likes them once in a while and he wants to find out if the hard-to-get formulas are really that much better than the regular stuff.

I think I’d better post a reply to my own comment! It seems PowerPoppers used to sell genuine poppers but there have been a large number of complaints from people who received crap that was patently NOT the real stuff at all. I really hope it is still possible to buy genuine amyl nitrate because it is both safer and far more pleasant than isopropyl nitrite which is just dirty rubbish.

If anyone knows where to get it don’t keep it a secret!
