Anyone else noticed that all reliable bud sources seem to have dried up?

I’m talking people who have sold weed as their main income for years and a year or two (or three?!) ago would have had bud (of ranging quality) whenever you called them up.

I know it’s probably the usual summer drought but it’s been like this on and off for the past 2 years.

I used to seek out nice weed, now i put the same amount of effort into getting any kind of weed.

I’ve obviously lost a few contacts but I try to have contacts who don’t all get bud off one dude but it’s just a ball ache, only reliable bud i get now is a grower i know once a month. It’ll all settle back to normal soon i hope.

The whole weed market has changed, busting all these grows just forces people to start their own grows, all the import is sprayed with shit. i can’t remember the last full ounce of bud I bought.

It’s not like I live in the back end of nowhere. I live in Nottingham.

they are just increasingly getting grassed up by neighbours and and busted

If you look at the local news first the vietnamese got turned in and it seems the bulk of them have been nicked and deported after a few months (incidentally they are only deported after serving their time and return to Viet Nam with a clean record as we won’t extradite criminals to nations with death penalty!)

now the locals are turning in English growers as well because of all the “mental illness” hysteria about weed…

10 years ago people didn’t give a shit or even though it should be legalised

now some a lot of peoples views have changed…..

round here some of the growers are in their 50s/60s and getting turned in by people in their 20s/30s :you_crazy

its actually some of our generation turned judas, they’ve seen people overdo things and fuck up through their own lack of self control (or done it themselves) and started supporting prohibition…

I don’t smoke weed much any more because the new bud is stronger and it makes me a bit of a zombie rather than the “old skool” buzz when you were happy and laughing and still active, but I think people still have the right to smoke if they don’t cause anyone problems…

I duno I’ve seen a huge upsurge in home growers of late. I spend a lot of time chatting with folk at work and it seems that most people actually feel safer now the vietbong are getting busted all the time.

As the average size of a bust grew from 4 plants to a houseload the cops seem to be treating small time homegrowers with a bit more respect and dare I say it understanding.

not the case here, loads of small timers have been busted recently, one every week it seems – its like they are trying to make a big example out of everyone, and our local force uses Met methods and tactics in a suburban / rural area… but even so not sure how the cops are finding out as these aren’t massive operations what would normally attract undue attention, so suspect neighbours must be turning people in..

I think that most wife beaters are alcohol drinkers to be honest..

I get to lazy by smoking weed to even think about getting out of the couch :crazy_diz
