Already tried in East Anglia several times and has had completely the opposite effect. Only ends up with low level dealers being killed who are replaced by others what sell even worse stuff.
Worse when people are killed by decent pills and being maybe a bit greedy the families do dob them into the cops and also openly support more prohibition (which is exactly what would happen if by some miracle better stuff returned to the UK)
The Home Office in their drugs strategy openly admit to using enforcement at the top end (SOCA etc) to limit the source of purer (and safer) drugs and cause variable quality as part of a enforcement strategy. Its written there in black and white on page 55 of ther drugs strategy.
They don’t care if people die, nor do the non-drug using population, if normal people hear of a drug user dead (no matter what the drugs are) and are unrelated to their victims they just see it as one less burden on the NHS..
