almost all drugs you buy gives money to criminal gangs tbh (although to varying degrees I guess), even a bit of pot these days (well, it was probably always like that in fairness). Drugs are not very moral it has to be said, but then neither are a lot of other commercial products, or indeed the western lifestyle really. Kinda sucks really 🙁
As you say, Mexico is kinda scary, and that is repeated world over (although with less current media attention).
