intresting how there was very little danger to it before it was made illegal, like if the pills are legal their going to be clean of any contaminants so hence alot safer. Making it illegal just handed it over to criminals instead of scientists. Facinating stuff dude

Yeah, and the only reason they hated it so much in the first place was because it was so safe and everybody was singing it’s praises.

So they made it illegal, forcing it underground adding the dangers of unknown chemicals and causing them to spend huge amounts of money to try and stop it. Then they try and scare everbody to death with lies, which eventually makes everybody sceptical about anything they say and therefore makes it EVEN harder for themselves to combat the drug.

Makes you laugh doesn’t it. A classic case of the government not wanting people to be free thinkers or enjoy themselves. Which inadvertantly makes tons of work for themselves and creates a massive underground criminal market where people are getting hurt through unsafe and unregulated batches of pills.

You’d think it was a story from a comedy (black comedy) film.

Spot on biotech, and anyway how the hell does anyone really know how the effects of xtc, least of all goverment officials and scientists who never actually taken or seem people taking it, dont knock it till you tried it I always say. :bigsmile:

The land of freedom and freespeech where the goverment silence people telling the truth with bogus reports in order to suit their own ends…..
Bush has done exactly the same with his enviromental “policys” if you can call them that, because the industry causing the pollution are the people who fund the pointless wars with other countrys america always seems to get itself into. Anyway going of one there in relation to this what the goverment had to say in that film is just so typical of the normal crap they come out with.

It’s worth a watch when you get home. You can’t always trust the facts in docus like this but it seems fairly honest, considering it’s from the american media.

You’ll see it later I’m sure, but it basically details the history of ecstasy and it’s use in treatment of patients and talk groups when it was legal. Great footage from an american talk show with your standard talk show crowd quite happy with the use of ecstasy and then the DEA basically saying they want to make it illegal because it is so safe and people like it (???)

Then goes on to talk about how it all went underground and how the american government tried to stamp it out with scare stories which eventually badly back fired on them when the new scientist made them admit their tests were a load of crap and the researcher in charge actually used meth-amphetamine on the test subjects as opposed to MDMA (supposedley due to a labeling error…. yeah right)

Anyway… No point me running on as the docu explains it much better than I can.

weren’t the test subject monkeys? ISTR they were a rare endangered breed of monkeys as well :bitter:

Don’t know about their global population, but yeah, they were monkeys. :frown:

I remember reading all about that scandal in Eternity when i was younger. I didn’t read any other sort of alternative media back then.

really had to LOL when i saw donahugh putting the case for MDMA

first time i saw his show was also first time on acid (right at the end of a long trip, got in to a friends house, and there was this plastic american guy in the corner of the room)

I wonder what the true death toll was of e deaths in the uk was Disregarding all media hype and assuptions ie
A: death by mdma
B: death by impurity

My mate NoName says just eat em as quick as possible then you don’t need to worry about storing them..
However Raj the wife says there are many places you can hide them so that the hoover husband (noname) cannot find them….:horay:

personally i can sleep a few hours after taking clean madman

after any speedy drugs i can’t sleep, even when i’m totally physically / mentally exhausted… that’s when i get messed up waking / lucid dreams
