A bit like Alexander Shulgin, who last time I checked was alive, healthy, and hapilly married to the same woman from his first long term relationship who works with him on his scientific stuff on a equal basis and is still a free despite obvious hassles with the feds 😉
bear in mind both these scientific dudes used their brains properly – not just their academic knowledge but knowing their limitations and exercising self-control and thats why they don’t fuck up on drugs like others do.
When Alex Shulgin experimented on his friends he’d also make sure people were around to look after them.
As some of his friends were middle aged couples, if they weren’t doing the drug together he’d even arrange chaperones so if they were taking drugs what made them unexpectedly horny they wouldn’t be tempted to get into situations where they might act impulsively and cheat on their long-term partners..
There’s disciplined scientific use of drugs and there’s problematic use and abuse…
