Thats exactly what happend to me. The depression was amazing comming of gear, meth or subutex. All these emotions felt new to me. Everything. I cried, I was happy, I started to feel emotions more and after a lot of using these felt alien to me. Plus I never knew if this was “normal”. Was anyone else going through the same? Is this me?
DDD, this is “normal” to feel this way babes. Perhaps Raj is right, perhaps you would benefit from anti depressants. But remember, they take a few weeks to kick in. They seem to make you level. Not happy, not sad, in fact they seem to take your emotions and iron them out, into one long line. You may need to try several until you get the right one for you. This is no quick fix but it works until you are ready. Oh, and your sex drive on Prozac is a zero – orgasm in under a few minutes for a man, dunno about you girls.
I ended up on Prozac for a few years until I asked then to stop – it ended up making me more anxios, nervous and swetty. However, looking back, I needed the anti-depressants.
