It says that the effects are like taking a doseage of Codeine with a stimulant effect. So we have the body numbing to help with the pain and the stimulant effect to help with the mind. At low doses it acts as a stimulant, at higher doses its effects compare that to taking a high dosage of codein with its heroin like effects (small pupils, sweating, constipation etc)
It is possible that this plant will be habit forming and there are addicts in South East Asia where the plant is found.
Its chewed, made into tea but very rarely smoked.
There are no human trials on the drug, but there are plenty of reports from users who claim the benefits when trying to move from harder opiates.

Are there any other users of this plant out there who can describe in detail ‘exactly’ what its like? Its not an alternative that I would suggest right now but I think it would be ideal in coming off small amounts of smak or DF’s or codeine.
