taking a drug test today, option 3 was given. I have no idea what option 3 is????
In most civilised countries for any medical treatment you have the right to know exactly what is being tested for and have it explained to you in a way you can understand.
It sounds like you have been handed some document which is missing this explanation or was intended for a medical or law enforcement professional; I would suggest you ask them to explain exactly what these options are and why they are there as the coding can vary within countries and regions.
it is indeed for medical personal and I reside in the good ol usa,,,alabama to be exact
do they not have “right to know” laws? The doctor/nurse should explain what is being tested for; I think thats a worldwide (UN) recommendation; although I know the USA has a habit of ignoring these (other than the ones what make drugs illegal).
As far as I know their are 2 types of test used by most countries, a bsic test, which tests for the most common drugs, such as MDMA, amphetamines |(yes, plural) heroin etc.
The extended tests for exactly the same substances but as the name suggests, it’s extended to check for a total of 16 substances.groups. I know this is not the answer you were looking for but I have genuinely never heard of a third type of test, especially when used to test for illegal substances.
i think option 3 is just option 2 plus some other stuff, thats what i’ve been able to guess from googling it, but i can’t find specifics, i think it is basically option 2 which as tryptameanie mentions is 16 substances, basically those 16 are what you have to worry about.
this is a headscratcher though.
edit: there appear to be 9 options(who knew amiright)
WOW, 9?
