Parties have now been balkanised to a smaller areas of England but farcebook means they are available to anyone with a car who has the time and money to drive 200 miles just for a weekends fun. That way a lot of oafs find their way to parties simply because they have a car and are willing to drive other fair weather friends to them (perhaps as their “friends” share drugs with them and they can also attract girls that way who otherwise wouldn’t be interested in them).
Often they have no connection to the local area (unlike how it used to be “back in the day”) – its just seen as more fun than going out in their home grounds but they don’t give a shit about what they do there unlike towns where CCTV means muppets do get caught and brought to judgement. This doesn’t exactly make for a friendly community atmosphere.
