sugar coated tablets are still made in India – I found a site which offered to make them (for pharmaceutical companies) as well as more modern types.

i’ve had sugar coated indian tramadol. they look like orange m and ms!! there’s images on google. 100mg orange tramadol

Ibuprofen (pink ones) are sugar coated, bad idea I think, the more vile the less likely that kids will eat them if they find them.
