Weed and I have a love hate relationship…Sometimes when I smoke I only take about 2 hits and it I feel good and it doesn’t hit me that hard and I’m still high but it feels good. Most times though Ill smoke the EXACT same amount as I do to get the good feeling but it seems like I smoke so much more because I get really paranoid and want it to go away and I have no idea what im saying, I get really really sensitive. So what is going on? For all you experts out there please help me :mkay:
Different types of weed, different settings, different company, different states of mind when you smoke and many other variables can make you experience drugs differently. If you are feeling paranoid often when smoking I’d think about avoiding it if I was you, that advise comes from experience. It could get worse and worse the more you smoke if you ignore the warning signs, and really isn’t worth the risk for a little buzz imo.
look up sativa and indica strains, they produce different highs.
also are you smoking from a joint or bong or pipe? i find tobacco can make me very anxious when i smoke it with no tolerance at times, are you smoking with tobacco?
depends how often you smoke too, the less you smoke the more anxiety i find. when i used to be a bong abuser a good 7-8 years ago i used to hate not smoking more often because when i did smoke i’d get anxious, but when i had tolerance i didn’t get the anxiety but the nice buzz…
weed is an odd one… wen i was smoking it at 18 i feel like it really messed my head up, but now im 62 it doesn’t seem to have that debilitating effect… i think it gave me some sort of brain damage too, but for some reason i dont get those feelings now if i use it… but i think weed and anxiety often go hand in hand… you can probably smoke the same weed/same strain and it’l be nice sometime but then another time it’l make u worry

I’ve smoked from a bowl, no tobacco and it’s so weird because I don’t smoke that often but sometimes it’ll be good and I can remember things and other times it’s so bad I can’t remember anything and I get really paranoid and get really sensitive. I’ve also smoked from a water bong and a bong and same thing, really paranoid.

I wouldn’t advise smoking more weed cos you need to smoke quite a bit to get past the anxious stage.. just smoke less if you feel paranoid or be in a better setting, weed is psychedelic and you can have good and bad experiences depending on where you are. personally it normally just makes me anxious these days unless i’m on opiates or benzos which i do not really recommend getting into.
But why not try 1 hit, you’ll be high, wait til it peaks, then do another hit when you know you haven’t done too much 🙂

I always feel like I can get higher though, but I don’t want to reach that point where I’m anxious so I feel like 2 hits is good and sometimes it is but other times it takes a bad effect on me.
It sucks because whenever I start smoking I don’t know weather it’s going to turn into a good night or a bad one-____-

Maybe learn a bit about meditation and do a bit before you smoke. it calms your mind and puts your thoughts to a slower more peaceful aware state.

I think I’ll probably do that, I have learned a little about that in one of my classes, it’s pretty cool how people do it

As stupid as that sounds I’ve actually thought about it lol. I’ve thought about either smoking so much till I can’t feel anything or any emotion like you said or just not smoking at all
Hey we all consider it but only the brave venture forth. Often returning 30 years later with some form of personality or anxiety disorder. As p0ly mentioned though you should look at getting a sativa strain to smoke, although unless you know a grower the dealer is unlikely to have any knowledge whatsoever as to what they’re really floggin despite the promises of russian rhino, AK northern kush, ninja spunk skunk or whatever cool sounding crap they make up as they hand you the bag. Sorry went off on 1 a bit there lol, my point is sativa strains generally give you the giggly head high that can be a bit buzzy rather than the heavy stoned feeling that most strains of modern day skunk is cultivated for.
im looking forward to asking the friendly local chav if he’s got any sativa coming in… actually not a bad idea to try to source it tho… hmmmmm… i got some the other day, asked what it was and sounded like he said ‘ginger inbred’ but i may have misheard
