On my macbook i have pretty generic Jam band and electronic tastes with a smattering of yoga dub and all the CD’s at my parents house and from my youth (think alot of Americana and oldies)… gotta fill up that 1-TB hardrive.

I used to live for live shows esp seeing a band/artist for the first time I’m from the USA but have been keen on the Ozric Tentacles for a while and while i’ve had a few opportunities to see them have failed to do so, anyone in the UK able to render a verdict on seeing them live? they tour in the USA now and again but would likely be 3-4 hours drive away if they come around.

The golden age of file sharing is over but with new advents such as spotify maybe ya’ll can turn me onto new music, i feel like i’m heavily regionalized with Jam bands in the eastern United States as far as new acts that i’ve gotten into over the past year +

If you like a headbang, there’s some songs in that thread you’ll no doubt enjoy.

I’ve always been very versatile in my musical tastes. Putting Eminem aside, because he has talent that shouldn’t be ignored, I don’t do much rap music. Really can’t abide gangster rap. Country music has never done anything for me either. Apart from that though there isn’t much I won’t listen too. Oh wait, keep that modern day over manufactured chart shit away from me too.

In the last couple of years though I’ve grown a huge love for electro-swing and glitch-hop type music.

I know they have been around since early 90s, so maybe not in spirit of this thread, introducing people to new stuff…
However, they are AWESOME. Fan since late 90s.

Any other fans?
