Anybody know what kind of weed is this? Thanks 🙂
Purple haze? Lavender? never seen skunk THAT purple before!
I’ve seen this stuff before (online not irl). It’s some north western American strain, I forget what they call it.
Found a reference Gaz, but it doesn’t sound quite like what is pictured…
Possibly a new hybrid, using the purple Kush as a base and then breeding for more purple over a few generations.
It looks very different though. Might be a photoshop job to advertise a Purple Kush seed supplier (and then taken down because it’s a registered strain – cuttings only).
Well spotted! Never heard of that before.

All I wish is that people wouldn’t keep modding the strains to be so THC powerful, when there are other cannabinoids present that are also part of weed’s “high”.
THC is not the only active ingredient in cannabis there are many cannabinoids (CBN, CBD etc) that are completely ignored. Good weed should be natural weed. Like Thai weed or block weed or whatever.
You need to keep the cannabinoids in balance, not pushing some but holding back others. They compliment each other for a reason.
The link between cannabis and schizophrenia could only have come about after the plant had been modified to produce large amounts of THC (an hallucinogen) without producing any where near as much CBD (which has antipsychotic properties).
Let’s get back to the older original strains that everybody can enjoy.
it looks like the kind of weed that if you roll it in a joint and smoke it you’ll get stoned
nice colours tho!

In theory, if a solvent was used to remove the THC first, then the rest of the plant could be used to extract the CBD’s.
I wonder if the freezing-cold waterhash process might be the ticket? Usually people keep the waterhash and bin the rest. Could be they are throwing away useful medicine and overusing the euphoric THC.

I actually like it more psychedelic. Its a verrry niiece (Borat voice)
purple haze?….I have had it growing in my garden for a couple of seasons…its not anything I would recommend(it is best for hydroponics…) due to it is weak to damp weather and get destroyed by fungies as easy as hell….

TBH even if people can keep their consumption way below whatever level causes health problems, I found personally that most weed after the mid-late 90s was fine for someone with less responsibilities/time pressures but unuseable if you wanted to have sharp enough reactions and motivation to do anything useful, without taking stimulants on top of it (which is of course worse for your mind and body). Eventually it got to the point of diminishing returns where I decided to give up both. But whatever was around in the early 90s (both hash and weed) was less mind numbing and demotivating.
Also if people really want to make anything positive out of cannabis culture it would make far more sense to grow strains what can survive and thrive in a normal North European climate than intensively grown processed stuff filled with agribusiness chemicals. That surely can’t be that good for you any more than similarly processed chemical substitutes or food.
and that way it can be hidden amongst other plants in suburban and rural rather than grown by criminal mafias in town what use trafficked people and bridge out the power before the electric meter to increase profit..
Scientific trials. Not hearsay evidence. That’s the best.
Open information free to all. Not just prejudice!

Totally agree mate, a friend of mine came into some nice solid (like rocking horse shit round here) a while back, not too strong but really positive, and he had people offering silly money to give it up.
So of course we smoked it all 😀

I argree and disagree, see the wonderful thing about weed is you can change the cannabinoid levels in it so you can breed your own strain to your specific thing you look for in a weed high, there is so much recreational and medicinal potential for cannabis, I fucking love weed. Besides im more of a psychonaut if anything so I like my THC levels very high for a psychedelic hue to it. But there are many different cannabinoids in weed that are each important in there psychoactive effects and physical, god put weed on this earth for a reason. I teared up thinking of the beauty of it xD
it could actually be any strain :L cold temperatures make a lot of different strains turn purple 😉 and don’t forget mutants….but there are a ton of strains bred for higher chances of turning purple such as purple urkle, purple daddy, grand daddy purps, the purps….you get the picture
