Yep, that was a mate of mine a few years ago – I vaguely remember posting about it. Sadly he never took that advice and is now pretty addicted to crack – last I heard there were dealers turning up at his mum’s house threatening to burn her house down as he’d bought stuff on tick and couldn’t pay for it. Not seen him for a couple of years now.
This sort of shit used to regularly happen down the road from me. At the time my mum was staying at my house for a bit before going back to MY, and there was still the analogue telly. because I live in the “nice” part of the estate and at the top of a hill the feds would get the Airwave repeater van parked not too far away (as the system was then quite new and without it would crash) so I’d always know if the estate was being turned over because my mum would ring me up at work and ask why there was buzzing and lines appearing all over the TV screen..
now the whole town is on zero tolerance and anyone who regularly travels to and from London is watched hard, which seems to have stopped the problem or at least pushed this kind of bullshit to other estates.

I have a Huawei Ascend G300,
up until last week though I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 but lost it on a night out… That was a nice £500 down the drain!
why on earth would you buy a brand new phone and not pay like a fiver a month for repair/lost and stolen warranty??? Seems a bit silly dude you have to expect this to happen with these sort of things a brand new smart phone is the best item to steal as it’s tiny and worth a fucking bomb and EVERYONE (almost) has one these days and it’s on them at all times.

any good? Blackberry are not doing too well these days it seems
hasn’t done too bad tbh though can be a little lame at times 🙁 though mine has done better than i hear of most peoples though i do have the newest curve out and it’s probably updated and it’s not one of those chubby curves or bolds it’s stylish and lightweight. I can text fast with the keys and no touch screen at all on it which is why i chose it… i hate touchscreen.
the 9800 has both keyboard and touchscreen – I don’t mind the touchscreen but it if I don’t press the lock button I find the phone either starts up on its own and dials last number, or randomly sets the text input language to something I do not understand. but it is handy for dealing with multiple email accounts (day job / personal / special email I get for the radio station) and I can even log into the telephone exchanges at work on it if I really want to (though I I’d much rather use a bigger easier to view screen on a real computer whenever possible).

But I bought my phone second hand off eBay. I’m really pleased with it.
Work gave me a Blackberry Bold. I don’t like it much.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mobile Phone. It has good features, applications, battery life and a quality camera.

sony ericsson w810i
had this beast for 5 years and its still going strong, we’ve been through a lot together
I have the S4 but I’m wishing I’d known about the Note 3. Sounds very impressive even if it doesn’t fit in your pocket.
This threads… fucking amazing?
How did you know I was on the phone?
It’s a Cisco deskjob, wired into my local “scroungers and malingerers only” area.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Z.
Sony Ericsson are consistently unreliable but they make the pwitiest phones in my opinion so I stick with them. Most phones are too complex nowadays and even fewer seem to be built to last, a phone will rarely survive in my hands for more than 12 months. I’m currently on month 15 of an 18 month contract but on my 5th handset from this one contract lol.
My first phone, Nokia 3310, lasted 3 years and it was still working when I got a new phone.
