can understand the desire to do so but (unless you have some veterinary skills) in which case you’d probably have dealt with the mutt anyway its a complex and risky procedure including to yourself; its very easy to make this stuff emanate hydrogen cyanide as a gas by accident. A few years ago I used to obtain all sorts of intelligence related training material (when it was first leaked on line) including how to get deal with guard dogs (or just dogs which would give away someones presence).
Lethal force was always suggested as a last resort (dead dogs tend to make the surveillance target more suspicious and spies aren’t completely heartless); but half of so-called “security” dogs and even more pet dogs have not been trained to refuse food from a stranger. Such food (especially of higher quality than their usual diet) can be easily adulterated with benzos; with the result the dog simply falls asleep on duty and awakes later or is assumed to be ill and taken off to the vet; there may not be a backup quickly available.
TBH with benzos being dirt cheap if I was faced with this I’d be tempted to start feeding it small amounts of benzo laced food and befriend it; and work out some way of training it not just to defecate elsewhere (like in its own territory) but something even more bizzare like to start howling along with Schlager music (a Germanic form of folk music similar to country and Western but sung in German, Dutch or other North European languages) and take up singing this (along with the dog) at random hours to annoy the neighbours even more (i.e they get a dog that randomly barks and howls but never used to).
look at it this way – you can only poison the dog once and the fun is over – then theres most cops, animal protection authority etc hanging around – but “reeducating” it could mean months of fun, at least a few decent social media videos and even possible fame and stardom and other than a anti noise order you can’t get in trouble for it…
