    KINKY

lol just realised i didn’t even finish that post before i posted it….what a tard i am

sports casual. The fashion when I was younger was all designer labels, Timberland, Lacoste, Naff Naff, Armani, Henri Lloyd. Tend to just wear the same shit – Adidas trainers, Diesel jeans and a T-Shirt (preferably a Japanese make called Bathing Ape/polo shirt

the chavs that i had to deal with when i was a greb wernt so nice as just to shout OI GREEBO!
every saturday groups of greebos used to hang around the top of abington street in northampton town center and in abington graveyard. we were like a family and had really good times, but almost every weekend there would a group of chavs that used to come to the graveyard just to start on us, rob people and generally scare the shit out of us

I hate chavs who do that kinda shit they seem to always give alot of shit to the goth/emo kids. Fuck noes why, guess its because they see them as an easy target.

I remember once when i was in town me and some mates saw acouple of emo lads get beaten up, we ran over got there phones and wallets back off the chav fellas. We then helped up the emo guys made sure they where ok gave them there shit back and wished them a good night. Was a proper nice feeling we where local heros for acouple of weeks aswell, one of the emos mums even thanked my mate acouple of days later when she bumped into him. :P.

fair play Matt, good to see people standing up for what is right, although it is defo worse from when I was in my teens. Not because society was any better, we had Thatcho, worse cops, no mobile phones and really basic computers, but teenagers then weren’t quite as angry and competitive… it wasn’t perfect and subcultures clashed occasionally but most of the time we just all got high together…

today every time I look at EDP some kid has been beat up somewhere in Norwich or even in the villages, not even robbed always, its as if everyones on a short fuse (worse than in Suffolk…)

I think thats party down to the media, films like green street etc dont help either. They promote the idea of been macho and glamorize fighting. Round norfolk even where i live most towns have atleast one fight in them a week……

just intrigued as to how people saw their own style. I know you can’t just put people in boxes but everyone does have influences that affects the way they dress.

I’m still deciding how to label myself………… :crazy_fre

Style? Label? I came to Partyvibe to escape from all that! raaa:wink:

My tip of the day – Rebel – refuse to have a label :weee:

and invent your own style 😉

I remember reading about some fight and it was in a area they would have had to (and did) go driving around to find someone to fight as there are fuck all people there!

its not that Britain didn’t make gangster films / violent telly in the 80s (in fact it probably made more, better ones too) but all the crime / cop movies I remember always made it look like the macho hard men whether they were cops, gangsters, dealers etc had really sad fucked up lives and weren’t enjoying any of it – especially cop shows like the Sweeney and Professionals, no one actually “won” as such, crime just went on and peoples lives got more fucked up..

I’m a Londoner originally with a lot of family in Essex and some of the wannabe mockney bullshit I see round here just makes me laugh TBH, especially as I came here to get away from all that sort of shit…

quite a bit of fighting round ere
tending to get cunts up in my face moderately often because im quite stubborn but generally i stay out of trouble
generally never a problem with the police down here at the weekend though theyre pretty sound… can chat shit to them about anything whilst sat on the beach with a cigar n a can of wrongun :laugh_at:

Obviously not Carrie Bradshaw style 😀 I would rather die

When I used to skate I hung around with alot of goths and grunger types. My Gf back then was a grunge/metal girl. We allways used to get shit from chavs, especialy outside (even sometimes inside) the skate park.

I remeber once one fucking pissed idiot punched my GF for no reason! I was about to hit him with my skateboard but his mate stepped inbetween and profusely apologised and draged him away lol.

    Twats

usually baggy jeans, t shirts or a jersey, skate shoes/sneakers and a hat.

Things that don’t usually match because i think i can get away with staying in bed 3 mins before i need to be out the door :s

i just wear cheap clothes from charity shops and look like a bit of a scruff,

baggy shirts, baggy jumpers, band and festival t shirts off my dad, loose jeans or trousers and boots. i wear shorts alot of the time though regardless of the weather since theyre nice and comfy

alot of my wardrobe is borrowed off my dad infact, making me look like a bit of a vagrant haha

    fuck fashion!
