I find tripping on psychedelics much easier to deal with than psychosis from sleep deprivation but I do everything possible to void any potentially mental situations.

Thats so hard for me, I die off really fast on anything that gives off even the slightest of stimuli, the mental load at the end was always too much for me to cope with really; might have been easier if I had a good stream of valium and that to help stave off the mental pain…..

OK, you need to get to some raves first.
I’m not sure what the rave scene is like your end but seeing as san fran is a cosmopolitan area, I’m guess they have their fair share of underground raves.

Stay away from ‘house’ and ‘trance’ as they are usually ecstasy shindigs, also you wont have any luck with ‘dubstep’ or ‘DNB’ parties (unless they are squats)

Find yourself some PSYTRANCE parties, or even some TECHNO. These are raves that people dabble in LSD.

Hmm, does mean to say it’ll actually be easy to find though. While I was on holiday, I spent a week looking for ganja in the Dominican Republic, I had to travel 2 hours to the other side of the Island to get a bloody draw, yet most of the bods working at the resort were baked outta there heads!

I’m sure OP will find some, just gonna think outside the box sometimes.

I remember when I first went out to scout acid, it took about a year.
I only met three or four people that had done it. One was going to get me some then realised I was an acid virgin and changed his mind. One said he had to wait till it came his way and the last eventually found some and got me three fruit pastels, dipped in lsd.

Now days, I know where to look and who to ask, you learn as you go along 😉

I’ll never forget that first trip, pure bliss.

You may find it easier to find 2CB which from what I have heard is like acid and ecstasy mixed. I’ve been offered but not tried yet. I’ve also heard it said that if you have taken more than 7 trips in your life then you are pretty much brain fucked, which explains a lot in my case. The birth of the acid house scene was fucking excellent and I spent about 3-4 years tripping my tits off. You may also find it easier to get hold of some Peyote which is supposed to be quite a nice trip. Psilocybin/magic mushrooms may also be easier to find, they’re a good trip too.

Not true. People just say the 2c family are like acid when they’re highly inexperienced with psychedelics. LSD is your most commonly known psychedelic, and along with magic mushrooms (of which there are many varieties), for those not familiar with the psychedelic subculture you may consider these to be the only two options. And it will be a lot of people’s reference when they are told something will make you trip. But the 2c’s are nothing like LSD, the trip is completely different. Even the 2c’s themselves are all different in a way, and there’s a few of them, not sure how many to be exact

My mate has a bunch of 2CB which he has been pestering me to try with him. He’s heard the horror stories about bods going mad and tearing themselves up on it so is unwilling to try alone. I haven’t had any psychedelics for probably about 10 yrs so did a little online research so am pretty much saying what I read else where. Guess I may well have to give my mate a shout and give it a go this weekend.

Just make sure you do your research regarding dose and ROA. I’ve not tried that particular substance before, but I know people who have. Two friends of mine took too much once, not so much that it was a harmful amount, but enough to create a very disorientating trip. I saw them a few hours after consumption and neither were out of control, but neither were really in control of themselves either. Which isn’t a smart state to be in in public. From what I know of it it is more of a twist you type of head trip, rather than visual hallucinations. Just expect the basic stuff I think like enhanced colours and pretty patterns when you close your eyes. Not the type of drug that’ll make you see pink elephants dancing on the ceiling, I don’t think.
