I feel there has been a big lack of london psy parties as of recent. Yes yes, biosynth did a banger outdoor two weeks ago, and there was a legal one last weekend with SOS afterparty BUT not a patch on the few a week I swear there was a few months ago.
As for this weekend, I know of nothing! (If you know if any my inbox is sitting ready)

Still, universal groovy in a few weeks with big names but still.
I would have thought with AOP changing his name/focus to house/dnb there would be lovers of psy and other genera looking for a party, being snatched up by another crew.

Not really sure where im going with this or who im addressing this too, but before I finish let me add Where is the mutantbass/offmenut wonky stuff in london? it seems they will leave sheffield for bristol, brighton, manchester, but not london. :crazy:

Theres alternative waves next weekend (which you probably already know about, if not, inbox me) but im not around for it, which is why I was hoping for something this weekend!

perhaps its due to many of the crew members being foreigners, a lot from Southern Europe and that the weather in UK is not so good at the moment?

Don’t forget FR is only about 20km away from the SE coast of England, so its cheap easy enough to spend a week or two in Europe in countries where you could catch the last of the warmer weather, then return to UK and provided you are from EU or have the right papers there is no hassle in doing this. Last weekend at the housing co-op party our friend Antonio spent most of the daytime stoking up the outdoor wood fire and I could fully understand why as it was the first weekend I had needed to put on my cycling jacket for many months, indeed at some points I thought it was still too cold and I spent a fair bit of time pacing around to find warm spaces (I learned this trick from a cat).

it seems that Even if you are English by birth (which applied to both me and this cat, though he was part Siamese) if you have ancestry from a hot country the onset of colder weather is quickly noticed – it seems to be genetic inheritance…

They did a party with SOS the other week, its pablo and shelbys lot. They normally do little psy parties & afterpartys, no idea how big this will be, or if it will have full deco, etc, if im honest their parties have always looked through picture to be really empty squat parties in office blocks with little decor, where people all know each other and such, but my word isnt worth much as i havnt attended one 🙂
