are you talking about the ravers or the music? some of them are still very much around and still partying, as for the music, hardcore breaks has the elements of old school as well as newer better quality production techniques..

    better quality is really ok!!!!!!!
    ravers got younger&younger….:(

I’m not sure if ravers really have got younger and younger, its just that people “grow older” quicker!

I first started becoming interested in electronic dance music at age 15 (1987!), and experimenting with drugs around that time. By the time I was 19 in 1991 and raves first kicked off, I remember friends of 14/15 who would party and get high with us.

Also (and this was a very dark side to the scene) during the 1990s there were a lot of very young girl, some as young as 12 what ended up as “trophy girlfriends” of DJ’s, promoters and drug dealers.

Today the Police and Social Services would catch the men what were doing this sort of shit, and have them nicked and exposed for the nonces that they were, but it was “accepted” back then.. (in fact thanks to modern forensic science and a change in Police attitudes even the “cold cases” are being reviewed..)

in SE and Eastern England at least most cops have actually moved on from the life on mars days too, and if they are still being bastards to ravers and drug users its as much because the hedonists have given them a reason to (such as overdoing drugs, wrecking the environment etc)
