Okay, I’ll get straight to the point on this one.

My girlfriend is a masseuse, something she has been doing for around 16 years, so needless to say after that many years of practice she’s very good at it. Whether it’s sports injury and you’re seeking pain relief or you’re stressed and just need something to unwind you, those are the services she provides.

It even specifically says this on her advert, and it states she does not offer a sexual service.

I understand that unfortunately the industry she works in does have that link with less legitimate ‘massage parlours’, which are essentially just a front for brothels.

But I’m fucking sick of people ringing up asking her for a handjob, this happens several times a day, pretty much daily. When I voice my disapproval of this she doesn’t seem to think it’s a big deal. So am I just supposed to be cool with strangers coming in to my home (she works from home) and treating my girlfriend like some cheap whore. Sometimes she’ll even tell them ‘no I don’t offer that service’ but still have them round for an actual massage, if they were seeking both. She doesn’t seem to get why this causes me great anxiety, she just thinks I don’t trust her, but the issue really is I don’t want these seedy fuckers in my house.

A couple of guys I’ve even got talking to, because she was running late or something so I’ve kept them entertained with conversation for a few minutes. I make it clear that she’s my partner, and I can still fucking hear them asking her. What sort of cunt would be that fucking disrespectful.

I’d never consider going anywhere near another man’s woman, whether I knew them or not.

Arrgh, I’m just so pissed right now and don’t know how much longer I can take this, I’m living everyday in a state of high anxiety.

I understand she has to make a living but surely I’m not being over sensitive or unreasonable here am I?

How would she feel if it was the other way around. But at the same time I know how hard it is to get a job in England, as it is in Denmak, so it can be really difficult.

I wouldn’t like it if it was my husband/boyfriend, but I’m not sure what to do about it.

Would it be fair to ask them to stop? maybe not, but I would try nd ask anyway.

I hope you guys work it out before you can’t take it anymore and leave.

I remember having a next door who done the same job. her business was called ‘angel wings’ she thought it would be a good idea to have a business name for the house and names it ‘angel wings’ too. she was getting the same problem with these old pervs your GF was so she re-branded and only took on women clients. this never worked, long story short she moved out and i never seen her again..

I know a similar very indpendent young woman who definitely is not a sex worker (a real masseuse) and she has all the same problems. Unfortunately these stereotypes endure and people are less decent anyway; I know plenty of lads who will try and get with someones long term partner.

If you are in the slightest bit “Oriental” its even worse (the pinays at work daren’t even go out late at night) and affects both genders. Theres this stereotype here that if you are not obviously Muslim or in some other way religious that you “swing both ways and are into anything” As much as I like house and trance and techno I avoid events here as its awkward being chatted up by the muscle marys and sailors; not even because they are aggressive as such but persistent and some of them look like they are about to cry when you turn then down. (added to which the only venue licensing these events is the main LGBT club..)

in our country its usually illegal to use hidden recording equipment (but not illegal to seek sexual services) – added to which the confusion and duplicity over what a “massage parlour” is. whereas everyone knows here that it would be pointless to try and order a live goose from electronics companies but they do supply cameras to watch over your pets / livestock / farm (a friend of mine has a farm and such a set up). I set up CCTV and monitoring equipment of various kinds as part of my day job (to protect vulnerable people) and everything has to be done by the rules.

An overt CCTV camera (which are fairly common on house doors) in many areas could act as a deterrent; but audio recording is usually still forbidden even then people are shamless these days (its the title of a comedy series about British culture in an urban estate (housing project).

if its the only house in the street with one that runs the risk of neighbours alleging to local cops that the house is being used for drug dealing.

I’ve been 17 years with my ex-girlfriend, and foortunaly we never marrige.

I had this nearly same situation except that my ex was beautician and had open her office in a little room as beautician office in a Fittness. I had some trouble after 17 years together and had to go to jail nearly 4 years.
