unfortunately it doesn’t matter how “true” the environmental damage allegation is as long as someone in a postiion of authority (like working for Forestry) can vouch for it
those new radios the cops have are also mobile phones that work on a special government network called Airwave, they allow all the government agencies to talk on this network, so a cop can easily find someone from another authority to back him up on reasons why to stop the party
round this way they send in riot cops just to protect a load of commercially planted low grade pines that are gonna be BT poles or Ikea furniture in 10 years anyway(and what happens to all the tweety birds then??), and “rare deer” that they actually shoot at every so often because “there’s too many off them”
