    HAHAHAHA 😀

so did I, I reckon you get taught how to sin better :laugh_at:

I used to work in this Asian shop and all the nuns from my young sisters junior school down the road would turn up and they would load a trolley of stuff.

They would get at least two whole crates of Guinness, (the sister said it was good for you if you didn’t drink too much and turned up for Mass on Sunday – incidentally she didn’t specially insist you had to be sober!) – several bottles of sherry and cartons of cigarettes!

Also the Father would buy another bottle of sherry, pay for it and then put it inside the big pocket that the priests get in their jacket for the Bible. (Drink!) But I knew he was a decent chap as he could have easily just robbed that bottle and I wouldn’t have known for shit, and even then I was very security-aware..

If Jesus turned up today he’d get busted for illegal gatherings, and alcohol/food distribution without a license..

i disagree, i do not think jesus would be giving out any food or alcohol after he’s seen what happened to his teachings.

Them lot didn’t get pissed and fight one another and gathered up the leftovers – Jesus and his crew could handle their drink.. Nor did the Nuns get their party (seriously, this trolley was stacked full of stuff intended for some sort of celebration) busted by Thames Valley Police…

I’m still no fan of religion but what faith groups do try to put across is some form of sense of proportion and self-discipline…

some years ago there was this website what had info on partyvibe and “related sites” and one of them was bizzarely a Catholic dating agency!

I was so tempted to sign up to it and put on “lapsed catholic male in his thirties WLTM Good Catholic girl aged 18-35 for Original Sin” but decided against it, its not really fair to do that if you aren’t genuine and karma works in mysterious ways, could have ended up actually meeting someone, getting married and knocking drugs/partying on the head and doing a “Tony Blair”… :crazy_diz

bollocks…jesus would snort k and turn into a frog

so if a frog snorted k it would turn into jezus! (even if only in it’s own mind) :crazy_dru

marriage hasnt always existed, especially back when the bible was being written. in fact marriage was originally only a way for aristocracy to bring property together and a way to pass land/money to one another their partner was to die. the peasants would hardly ever get married, because they didnt own any land in the first place.

so the whole “sex before marriage is a sin” bullshit is a load of crap created by the church just as another little form of control!

    *my 5 cents*

fuck like rabbits as long as you dont hurt anyone

monogamy and no sex before marriage was good advice hundreds of years ago when there was no contraception and single mothers were outcast from society, but the rules no longer apply.
