I got my mitts on a copy of it donkeys ago when it was running under the codename “longhorn”. I will admit it was very pretty to look at :weee: but dam did my computer go slower than normal. TBH it just looks flashy and knowing Microsoft it will be full of bugs and you will get pissed of with it in 10 minutes when none of your stuff works on it.

Well it wouldnt run my wireless network card so i was back to the old wires! Back on XP and will stay with it. Also they are supposed to be releasing a service pack 3? maybe not now though i dunno

A colleague just pointed out it’s the first Microsoft OS to properly support multiple CPU cores…

the transparent window thing can already be downloaded from a third-party coder thing, has been out for years.

internet explorer 7 is a blatant rip-off of firefox, and for this reason i wont be using it – i’ll be sticking with firefox instead.

Hello all, i havent been on here in ages, hows the world been treatin u?

Well yeh i just got a laptop and its got vista on it, hopeful will be with me soon as this bloody computer is slower than dawn french in a 100metre race!

Hopfully it will be good ive herad lots of shit about it.
