i went to a united sound squat party.. first venue fell through so they went to the pleasure rooms in tottenham
the place was full of bags of rubbish and all dark.. then i got mugged by some geeza who took my wallet
i told security who got my wallet back (minus my 10 quid that was in there) and threw him out
he was hanging around outside the building when we wanted to leave so security walked me to their car and drove me to the bus stataion
i got on the bus and went upstairs, guess who was there, the bloke i got thrown out! he then punched me in the face as i escaped downstairs
he then realised he was on CCTV and came down apologising and trying to be all matey with me and stuff, so had to put up with him all the way home
worst party ive eever been to

was suposed to be dj’ing on a friend of a friends rig for a field party about 6 years ago few of my mates had allready been drinking at his house + the park next to his house for an hour or so b4 i got there.
turned up at his and chilled out did a line of freshlycooked k and had a beer …
knock on the door .. opened it .. no one there …
walked a little way out to see if any one was there .. and got ambushed by about 10 people armed with metal poles and bits of wood with nails in …
spent the next week of so in hospital woth a badly smashed up nose what had to be rebuilt (VERY lucky that was all!)
aparently all this happened because of a football being misskicked and a jokey comment early on in the day (the youths had see what house my friends went into after not taking kindly to a joke my mate made and decided to punish us)
needless to say i never went to that party :laugh_at:

damn thats some nasty shit!
i was at a house party in one of the big houses in town. I had been invited by a mate and wasn’t really meant to be there had just turned up type thing loads of people were doing it.
I had got a 2 ltr of strong bow i had open acouple of days before but never got round to drinking… I so i dcided to drink since i was LOW on funds
Start drinking it and it had gone bad, so my mates dare me to down it. I take up the bet and start to feel sick after about half the bottle. End up throwing up into two pint glass’s, perfect all the way to the top hadn’t spilt any.
So walk into the kitchen to get rid of them and i walk straight into the person’s dad who had just turned up. i slip over and both pints go everyhere, all over him and the floor
After that i got kicked out and stuck outside for half an hour…. Bad night.
the one that springs to mind recently was the tek. drove 650 mile round trip only to get severe speed psychosis/paranoia starting sometime on sunday until i got back home. cost me about £200+ in petrol and i didnt see much of the party cause i was to busy sitting round my van trying to protect it from the hoard of irish gypsies that i thought were about to turn up and turn both me and the van over. made even worse by the fact that i must have been the only person at the party not coming away with a good memory. fucking speed! grrr.:cry:

I thought you had a diesel van?
TBH I expect those what lost loads of equipment and vehicles don’t have particularly good memories of this event either. They might put on a brave face online but I’ve seen at first hand what this psychologically does to people especially when the comedown kicks in.
I was even tempted to contact you that weekend but thought “nah, after 2007 its not gonna be worth the risks”. Not even major penalties but even getting done for minor stuff and bailed back to Wales is a hassle. OK things might be fine but its these niggling little worries which escalate the paranoia associated with partying.

yeah its a diesel, but its a 2.8td and quite a big beast, 24ft long. going to be selling it asap actually so if you know anyone thats looking for the nearest pit to throw their money down then let me know! 😉 it is actually a pretty decent van tho :weee:
im back up in sheff now so wouldnt have been able to help with a lift anyway, but ill be back down your way in the next two weeks. looking to sell up everything i own so i can fund myself on this scuba diving course that i want to do in thailand. gonna make different thread about that in a minute.
def starting to get more paranoid at the bigger events. im also starting to think about the consequences of it a bit more esp as im wanting to go away soonish, definatly dont want a court date or anything like that hanging over me or worse get the van confiscated due to having some speakers in it or me being over the limit (i dont drink drive, but you never can be sure if you’ve had enough of a break before driving).

was a bit annoyed my phone didn’t work so didn’t have a chance to meet up with anyone at the party from here but perhaps it was for the best after all. Meeting new people when you feel like that is never a good thing. damn drugs, they provide so much fun yet sometimes can totally fuck up the evening/day/week/life
