I don’t think anyone likes the “babylon” but it goes deeper than just the Police. Babylon isn’t just coppers or govt or politicians but the backlash from normal people, sometimes a bit older, sometimes even our age what don’t agree with raves because of having seen a negative impact from them.
most cops would rather sit on their arse eating pies than go miles out into the middle of nowhere to bust a rave. Those what feel they are justified in closing down a rave with force have often had a negative experience associated with raves or drugs themselves and its shaped their views. At least some of the cops currently busting raves used to be ravers themselves!
the reason people were a bit para of your first post was actually because we’ve had young people, same age as you, sign up on here to get info so they could grass a rave up to the authorities or even try and get vigilante groups to stop the event. they weren’t even serving cops or civil servants, just locals in the East of England what had got pissed off by the raves.
The wider community in this area really is that divided…
