i’m going with the mute button theory but i’d like to explore the latter…
sorted then. time to rock and roll. :bounce_flash:
All equipment is liable to play up if it’s not receiving the necessary power and digital crossovers and switch mode power supply amps are more likely to give you hassle if they don’t have a stable power supply with sufficient power.
However, in this case (due to how you have described the problem) it sounds much more likely that it’s the mute button accidently knocked on one of your channels.

we had a stable power suply at the last party we put on 2 generators with all the proper cut outs n fuse box ect. i think it was the mute buttons as theres no leds on a couple of them so 3 of em must of been on. we had it on 3 way sterion which was my fist point of call as i thought we might of had it on 4 way mono so its got to be the mute buttons.
i’m going to look at sorting a stable power suply out for next season, i’m making a heavy duty extention generator hook up with armourd cable n cicut breakers n all that over winter.

Try and make sure all your genny’s are diesel ones too – they produce much more stable power than petrol ones which can tend towards surging…
we got bacic surge protection and have had our 4.5kw honda overhauled so it dont surge to much. going to go deisil next year coz its fuckin well cheaper lol
