What Beer are you most into at the moment? For me it’s Tiger beer, damn I love the 64cl bottles of this stuff such nectar.
I bought a couple of bottles of this. The first one I found disappointing to be frank, it was a bit sweet and watery and sort of reminded me why I gave up on pale lager at least this side of the North Sea (it is brewed at the Heineken plant in Scotland).
but just now after I made some stir fry pork for tea and added too many small green Indian chillies to it (thinking these would be weak from storage and being mass produced for Asda) – so my mouth was on fire and I was glad for the other bottle, which would explain why it is popular in SG (although Asians like hot food, it does not mean our insides are not affected by it any less than those of more Western ancestry!)
in hindsight I should not have underestimated the power of these chillies (clearly marked INDIA) as Asda’s HQ is but 5 miles from Bradford :laugh_at:
As its now winter Badgers Poachers Choice

“This rich, smooth brew has a softly spiced sweetness with dark liquorice notes and a fruity damson aroma. Poachers Choice is a gutsy ruby ale that is well matched with hearty game pie or a tangy mature cheese.”
Its not a session Ale mind; One for a nice long pint by the fire type thing.
Tyskie + couple cans of whatever foreign extra strength that gives all the impact of a special brew with less obvious trampiness (is what I tell myself). Though my local shop has stopped stocking the lovely oranjeboom 8.5s I resorted to buying a couple of super skols last night
Kronenbourg that stuff is the bomb
tyskie everytime but if im at a pub will settle for a Kronie/Stella

tennents super isn’t that bad considering the strength. make sure its ice cold though
budweiser, amazing taste, after drinking i am on cloud nine.
Buds nice, but the so called ‘king of beers’ is actually a lager IMO
If Im in pub where you get a proper draft pint I prefer bitter like Worthingtons or Bodingtons, and if Im clubbing I prefer water & a pill… or 2 ; )
